Kinsmart BMW Isetta (1:38 Scale)

Brought back by a friend from the BMW Museum in Munich, Germany, a 1:38 scale Kinsmart BMW Isetta! This Italian-designed car was re-engineered by BMW around their own one-cylinder, four-stroke 247cc motorcycle engine in 1955. Check out the video:

I picked up the 2014 white BMW E36 M3 my first summer of collecting, and the blue version the following winter. This was a casting that took a second look on my part to truly appreciate, but I'm mad for it now...

HW 2015 P-Case BMW M4

I love this new Hot Wheels BMW casting, and enjoyed the trendy color choices we've seen it in so far. The German auto maker has received some bad press for cheating emissions regulations recently, and subsequent fiscal turmoil, but I don't think it will fully erode demand for the brand in the long run, Who knows? I've been collecting cars so fast that I've neglected to show much from my an earlier G-case haul this past spring, the extra-cool Hot Wheels BMW M4 and '71 Bluebird Wagon of particular interest to me. Below, the yellow 2015 G-case Datsun Bluebird with the earlier red 2014 Q-case Datsun Bluebird, the latter quite scarcely seen in these parts. Oddly, I actually found another red Bluebird on an international card in a local grocery store only a few weeks ago...

After the initial K-Day haul I posted on this past Saturday, I picked a few more from a K-Mart on the other end of the county, for a grand total of 27 cars! Feb 2015 Matchbox Haul

Actually, three of these I already had in a box full Matchbox I've yet to photograph, which I thought would compliment a few of the new castings I picked up. I'd been on the lookout for the Chevy Silverado with the Jeep Hurricane in the back of my mind, and lucked out finding them both, later finding the Aston Martin Volante mainline in black and the blue 60th Anniversary Commemorative Edition as well. I'd seen the latter months ago, but the orange Land Rover was a first- these are really leftovers from the 2013 Anniversary line, but new to me. Check out the video:

Matchbox Police Cars- BMW, Ford Mustang & Interceptor

I just love diecast police cars, and have collected a few Matchbox models recently: the BMW X5, '93 Ford Mustang LX SSP with California HWY Patrol tampos, & Police Interceptor in green with a Marshal tampo- initially released misspelled as "Marshall". See my video ...!

The Matchbox CA Highway Patrol cars with my Hot Wheels HWPD Dodge Charger Drift cars- I am particularly fond of black & white deco on my diecast police vehicles. While the Matchbox patrol cars are more realistic, I do love the Chargers...

Hot Wheels '92 BMW M3

On the trail of my last post featuring the E36 M3 Race BMW, I present these matching red & white BMW M3 castings. I prefer this body style over the E36 Race, and while I'm not opposed to graphics on a car, it's easier to admire the curves on these without. These really take you back to the 90's, obviously a calculated choice by Mattel, the demographic appeal geared toward the generation currently raising our children. It's a perennial favorite among a lot of car fans...

Hot Wheels BMW E36 M3 Race

I passed over this one a couple times, but finally picked it up at Wal-Mart last night. Sometimes the tampos on white cars are a little sketchy, but this one isn't too bad-  the BMW badge on the hood is somewhat obscured by the checkered race graphics. The ten-spoke rims aren't my favorite, but they work on this car visually...
