HW Tanknator (2017 C-Case)

Hot Wheels 2017 C-CaseTanknator was too cool for to pass on- I skipped the tan/desert camo version, but this one I couldn't. I'm into a few of the Ride-On Series castings, which work best with Mega Bloks figures best, also owned by Mattel. I have several Hot Wheels Mega Bloks minifigs as well, which I'm mad for.

Like the Mega Bloks Halo minifig I got for the '16 P-Case Tanknator, I picked up a Call of Duty Ghost soldier for the '17 C-Case Tanknator. Talk about a rough and tumble pair ...!

Hot Wheels Tanknator (2016 P-Case) & Halo MegaBloks Minifig!

Though the Tanknator can accommodate minifigures, it's from the Daredevil Series, unlike the Fig Rig pictured below with a Hot Wheels MegaBloks minifig, which is from the Ride-On Series. I've noticed people referring to these as for use with Lego minifigs, but MegaBloks minifigs make a better fit in my opinion, and have actually produced official Hot Wheels branded toys.

Two of my favorites in the video are the Desert Thunder V16 in the Alien Study Lab livery, which go well with my MBX Mission Force: Space set, and the twin Attack Tracks with raising missile launchers to go with my Matchbox Blockade Busters...

I couldn't make it to K-Mart Collectors Day this past weekend, and leftovers were slim pickings, but I did score these first-to-market HW Humvees! I love how the camouflage pattern is comprised of the Hot Wheels "swoosh", which morph into a tiger's head on the passenger doors- very cool! Check out the video:

The 2015 Combat Medic has great color, and a lot of metal in the casting from the 2015 G-case. A popular model among collectors, this truck has served as a delivery van for everything from spark plugs to candy bars, and has been released as a SWAT truck as well as in military colors over the last three decades. Retooled from the Matchbox MB724 Armor Piercing Tank, we've seen three colors thus far, in drab, grey camo, and desert tan. These two are my personal favorites...
