HW 2015 Pharodox & RD-02

I resist some of Hot Wheels fantasy castings, but as often I'll pick one up- in this case, the Pharodox & RD-02 captured my attention as a pair. The Pharadox is from the Night Storm Series and the RD-02 from the Ice Mountain Series, but their cool color scheme is related enough to pair them quite comfortably. I'm not always a fan of the glow in the dark wheels, nor colored wheels, perhaps the compliment of these together easing my skepticism...

The RD-02 shares similar characteristics with the HW Race Team Splittin' Image and '66 Batmobile, with it's flared tail fins and double canopy. And while on the subject, the Pharadox looks at home next to "the Batman" Batmobile, designed for the popular animated series that ran from 2004-2008. Perhaps Mr. Freeze's getaway car ...?

After initially passing on these two, I must say that the graphics and window treatments are unique and fun on they models, but lend themselves well to both each other as well as other cars in my collection.
