HW 2015 N-Case Toyota Supra

I was so jazzed to find this N-case Supra! I must admit being caught up in the JDM faze like many within the diecast community, but I really loved the graphics on this casting. I enjoy mixed rims on Hot Wheels, my only wish that the color difference be a little more obvious on this- the green rims up front could be a little brighter. The red is slammin' though! Check out the video:

HW Chevy Silverado

I'd put off picking up the blue-silver P-case and red L-case Chevy Silverado, preferring my flashier "Hot Trucks" series 2014 C-case in flaming blue with vac-metal grill and interior. But I soon came to appreciate the simplicity of the 2015 Silverados, and cracked open the 2014 for a closer 360 degree comparison. Check out the video:

HW Fast & Furious '70 Ford Escort RS1600

I found this K-case Ford Escort in early July after some considerable searching, the Hot Wheels Fast & Furious cars being among some of the most elusive in these parts. I have yet to see one of the films, but had a blue Escort in the '80s, so there's a personal connection if small. Check out the video:

HW BMW M4 & '71 Datsun Bluebird 510 Wagon (2015 G-Case)

I've been collecting cars so fast that I've neglected to show much from my an earlier G-case haul this past spring, the extra-cool Hot Wheels BMW M4 and '71 Bluebird Wagon of particular interest to me. Below, the yellow 2015 G-case Datsun Bluebird with the earlier red 2014 Q-case Datsun Bluebird, the latter quite scarcely seen in these parts. Oddly, I actually found another red Bluebird on an international card in a local grocery store only a few weeks ago...

HW '71 Hemi 'Cuda & Dodge Challenger

I'm a big fan of '70s muscle, especially of the Mopar variety, and have so many castings in this era. I nearly passed on these due to the somewhat dark finish on the Challenger, and having already scored a '71 'Cuda last autumn, but came to my senses later. Crazy! Check out the video:

HW Bentley Continental Supersports- 2015 L-Case

I loved getting the blue Bentley Continental Supersports in the recent L-case to complement the earlier dark red C-case version. The painted hood, side panels, and pinstriping could easily be underappreciated, but worth a closer look- Check out the video:

HW '65 Mustang 2+2 Fastback (2015)

I enjoy a Mustang Fastback! This new L-case '65 Mustang 2+2 Fastback has mildly obnoxious yellow wheels, but it's still a great casting with a punchy color combo. Check out the video:

HW Tesla Model S

This new Hot Wheels Tesla Model S will look better in another color, which I'd be willing to bet will be red, but it's still a cool sedan. I've heard some complain about the upward chin slope of some castings, but seems subdued here, or it just doesn't bother me. The rearview mirrors are an oft omitted sculptural detail on cars of this scale & price range, and I appreciate them. Tesla Motors was founded in 2003, headquartered in Palo Alto California, producing electric powered cars. Check out the video:

HW 8-Crate & '65 Ranchero (2015 J-Case)

I felt the Hot Wheels J-case 8 Crate and '65 Ford Ranchero made a great pair, with their OH5 SP wheels, similar colors scheme, and an hot rod styling! The 8 Crate was the Super Treasure Hunt in this case, but to this very day, I've not yet found even one. Still, I can't complain with a couple castings like this. Check out the video:

HW '90 Acura NSX - New for 2015!

I loved seeing this  HW '90 Acura NSX in a recent L-case dump! Something about sports cars of this era I've began to take notice of, perhaps the angular body styling or colors, or perhaps nostalgia for the era. The first generation of this automobile produced by Honda for the North American market in 1990, the NSX had an all aluminum body and V-6 engine, as well as Honda's VTEC Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control) system.  Check out the video:

HW Challenger Concept & Fram '83 Silverado (2015)

I don't always go for an orange casting, but do most the time, so I was happy to see the Hot Wheels J-case Challenger Concept & H-Case FRAM '83 Silverado! They seem to be popular among other collectors as well, for obvious reasons. Check out the video:

Loved these Hot Wheels "Ten & Now" series convertible Camaros, the '69 from the 2015 E-case, and the Convertible Concept from the H-case, both with matching decos! I'm not usually into white paint on my cars, but the tampos really make these exceptional. Check out the video:

Loved this Datsun 240Z casting, modeled after the early 1970's American release of Nissan's Fairlady Z. Popular among Hot Wheels collectors, this Phil Riehlman designed casting was first released in 2006, there have been 16  variations, including a Treasure Hunt and Super Treasure Hunt.

HW '72 Ford Gran Torino Sport

Ahhh, 1972... it was a very good year. I have a soft spot for '70s muscle cars, and love the styling of the '72 Ford Gran Torino Sport! I'd been hanging onto the 2014 mainline variations in white and blue until finding the new Fast & the Furious in green. Check out the video:
