More TOMICA here on the Super Fun Hot Wheels Blog! I'm a sucker for haulers- medium duty, LCF or otherwise, and love the treatment on this Tomica. The trailer has hinged cargo doors on both sides, which is trick, but mildly disappointing in it's emptiness. This slight quibble is due to it's scale being too small to hold any cars I have... I'll have to be creative and think of something fun to put in there. Still, a fun truck with a triple axle on the trailer...

These inexpensive Tomica may be commonplace in Asia (made in Vietnam), but their slight differences are appealingly exotic to me, and I willfully paid more for their import. Like Matchbox and Hot Wheels, they have their own history, style and endearing features that make them singular. Check out my post on the childhood Tomica I still have a few of, released as Pocket Cars here in the U.S. during the '70s & '80s.
