Jada 1:32 Scale Fast & Furious Nissan Skyline & Toyota Supra

These may or may not be my first 1:32 scale diecast cars, and while I've yet to see a Fast & The Furious film, I do enjoy some of the models featured in the franchise. I passed on the orange Supra multiple times, but picked up the silver Skyline when I finally pulled the trigger. Check out the video:

HW Fast & Furious Nissan 350Z

On the heels of my last post, the '70 Ford Escort RS1600, I found this earlier Fast & Furious casting on a tattered card at the bottom of a dump bin, the Nissan 350Z. Showcased in 2006's Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift, this 430 horsepower ride recently went up for sale at a whopping $243,000. Check out the video:

HW Fast & Furious '70 Ford Escort RS1600

I found this K-case Ford Escort in early July after some considerable searching, the Hot Wheels Fast & Furious cars being among some of the most elusive in these parts. I have yet to see one of the films, but had a blue Escort in the '80s, so there's a personal connection if small. Check out the video:

I've beeen hanging onto this 1:24 scale Jada Nissan for awhile now, and felt it was time I film it. This scale is hard to store and/or display in my modest apartment, so I try not to go crazy buying every on I admire! The detail on this sportscar is really wonderful- check out the video:

By the looks of the card, this Hot Wheels 2 Fast 2 Furious '94 Toyota Supra must have been dug out of a dump bin when the latest batch of L-case came in. I didn't see a lot of these Fast & Furious on the pegs in the last 12 months, most of which I'm certain was purchased on sight by enthusiastic collectors. Check out the video:

Ahhh, 1972... it was a very good year. I have a soft spot for '70s muscle cars, and love the styling of the '72 Ford Gran Torino Sport! I'd been hanging onto the 2014 mainline variations in white and blue until finding the new Fast & the Furious in green. Check out the video:

Even at $4.99, I could not resist this Hot Wheels Fast & Furious '70 Dodge Charger R/T, driven by actor Vin Diesel in the popular movie franchise. Though I only have one other Hot Wheels pop culture car, these hold their own aesthetically against some of the other premium diecast cars I own. See my video at YouTube:

HW Fast & Furious '08 Dodge Challenger SRT8

I know nothing of the popular Fast & Furious movie franchise, but in search of more premium 1:64 diecast, I picked up this '08 Dodge Challenger SRT8. The Fast & Furious Wikia says this car appears in the Furious Five, driven by actor Vin Diesel. I liked the flat black rear quarter panels on this otherwise minimal deco. The hood and doors don't open or anything, but it's a nice, heavy casting with a metal base, and rubber tires...
