Hot Wheels Track Builder Essentials Curve Pack & Ramp

In natural succession after gathering several dozen Hot Wheels cars, I was drawn to gather a few pieces of track on which to run them. After purchasing a few small playsets and some track to connect them, a launcher of some sort and a ramp seemed to make sense. The Hot Wheels Track Builder Essentials Curve Pack had the launcher I needed, and I picked up a ramp accessory from TRU to supplement. Last weekend I even picked up a couple small crates to hold my disassembled track when not in use. I've taken to watch Race Grooves on YouTube, and while unsure how far I'll take things, I'm now certainly obsessed with the idea of my cars jumping, taking curves, and perhaps even doing loops. Disappointingly, the launcher hasn't the power to get the cars around the second curve set up this way, but I did launch several cars off the ramp satisfyingly. I'll need to do some more experimentation, and a power boost accessory or two may be in order, but I'd like to avoid buying a lot of parts and still not get the result I'm looking for. Maybe some of you have advice for a novice track racer? In the meantime, I'm having a lot of fun shooting off the ramp!

  1. I couldn't give you any tips as I'm far from versed in this genre. But I do remember that wall track Hot Wheels came out with a little while ago. It could save you table space and maybe could be used in conjunction with the table track to give you a bit of a head start.
