From the 2017 N-Case, the new Hot Wheels Rally Cat! Hallsguide Diecast stated that the red variant may be only available in the international cases, but these are domestic carded samples. It was also mentioned there is only one of these variants per case, placing it's rarity in line with a standard Treasure Hunt, and that HW Digital Circuit Series castings (like the recent Solid Muscle) seem to be the cars getting this variant treatment. Also of note: the absence of collector number at the top right of the card. I love the deco on these cars and their wide body! Check out the video:
