I've said before that I do have some fantasy castings by Matchbox I love, such is the case with the Desert Thunder V16. Still has a metal body! I could not pass on this variant with "Mattel Sculpting Est. 1972" and "Mattel Digital Development Est. 1994" printed on the side panels, along with the names of designers who worked on Matchbox cars of those eras. Wonderful!
