I'd seen the new Maisto Design Series online recently and they didn't disappoint in person! These beefy 1:64 scale cars have opening hoods, lots of chrome, and rubber tires. The detailing on the grill, around the windows, and wheels is pretty nice too!

At $3.99 the investment is a little higher than I like to go on diecast, but the rewards were nice- I can see myself wanting a couple more, or one of Maisto's new Elite Transport truck/car sets!
